Midwest Label Supply performs custom medical label converting as a contract manufacturer for a variety of OEMs and startups. We can build your unique custom medical label to precision specifications. Our core business is short run medical label printing (100 to 10,000 pieces) but we can also get involved in medical device label printing and converting. We have a digital printing machine which accomodates short run, high quality, and fast turnaround labels. We are alsso able to achieve clean room compatible die cutting.
Custom disposable medical labels are manufactured, die cut, printed, converted, coated and shipped worldwide from our manufacturing facility. MLS's services range from master roll distribution of medical foams and tapes to custom die cut components with tight tolerances. Our experienced medical device engineering and design team will work closely with you on material selections such as surgical tape, medical adhesive, woven and non-woven materials, polyurethane, polyethylene and tissue. We work with adhesives such as epoxies, acrylics, natural silicones, modified silicones, hydrocolloids, hydrophilics, high density foams and low density foams. Medical Label Supply follows the strict FDA regulations of cGMP compliance to 21 CFR 820 for the manufacturing, packaging, and storage of medical devices.
As a medical tape converter, we specialize in slitting, die cutting, and laminating medical-grade adhesive tapes from raw stock to finished components. We convert 3M medical tapes (including 9832, 9833, 1777, and specialty silicone adhesives), surgical tapes, electrode adhesives, and breathable film constructions. Our converting capabilities include tight-tolerance die cutting, island placement, liner scoring, and custom packaging for cleanroom delivery.
Our medical converting services extend beyond labels to component fabrication. We work closely with 3M as a Preferred Converter, giving us access to specialty medical materials and technical support. Our capabilities include laser die cutting for microfluidics, precision rotary converting, coating application, skiving, splicing, and laminating. In-house assets include optical registration, in-line inspection systems, and cleanroom manufacturing environments for clinical trial materials.
Converting is no longer the simple slitting and sheeting business it once was. Our advanced die cutting and medical product coating systems have come a long ways from the old days. Some of our modern solutions to converting include integrated slitting, printing, laminating, and die-cutting processes, as well as top-notch design, research, and prototyping capabilities.
